Modernization of roller shutters
Choosing this complete motorized shaft kit for Somfy radio RTS means choosing the easiest way to handle daily shutters. This complete set allows you to save money: there is no need to change the entire roller shutter. You just need to open the trunk and drop the previous axle before changing it.
The Somfy® radio-mechanized valves are controlled using the supplied remote control or any other Somfy® brand remote control. By purchasing this gate electric drive unit, you also get access to connected technologies, since the RTS Somfy drive can be controlled using the Tahoma unit and the Connexoon unit (sold separately).
Determine compatibility with your roller shutters
To find out if your roller shutters are compatible with the RTS motorized axle kit, make sure that:
- The previous axis has a diameter of 40 mm and a length from 620 to 1500 mm.
- The stored power is sufficient (see the calculation formula below)
