Misting system components
Tubes, racores, filters, valves and controls allow mounting, maintaining or repairing a misting system. The choice part of the scheme and the working regime: similar connections can differ in size, thread and admissible pressure.
To replace a piece, identify your reference and line parameters. In a new system, first define pump, pipe and nozzles; then select connections and control. See DOMIS references for your configuration.
Compatibility parameters
- The working pressure of each component must correspond to the system; the connection size does not replace that check.
- Contrast the outer and inner diameters of the tube, thread and material of the joints.
- Choose filtering according to the pump, nozzles and maintenance conditions.
- In the controls, check power, signal, switched load and installation conditions.
Questions before choosing
That two pieces are 1/4 inch means they're compatible?
Not always. It can refer to the thread or diameter of the tube. It compares the connection planes, the thread standard and the working parameters.
Can irrigation parts be used in a high-pressure line?
Only if the manufacturer confirms the appropriate parameters. Do not deduce the admissible pressure by the appearance of the racor or by matching the diameter.
Before buying, prepare the scheme, the work pressure and the references of the parts that are replaced.
