The usefulness of the brightness sensor for the store

The brightness sensor 005446 allows autonomous control of bidirectional motorized protections. He commands the motor to raise or lower the protection depending on the light detected by him for more than 2 minutes. When installed, it is an inconspicuous internal sensor that is attached to the bottom of the glass with its ingenious suction cup. As a result, there is no need for drilling for use! Thanks to this self-contained brightness sensor, the light level in each room is perfectly controlled!

3 operating modes of the sensor 005446

The brightness sensor controls the action of the motor depending on the predefined maximum illumination, which can be changed at any time. In strong sunlight, the engine activates the lowering process, and in the absence of light - lifting. To determine the specific action that the engine should perform, you just need to adjust the operating mode of the three possible ones. Note that the first two are for Stores, and the third is for roller blinds.:

  • Mode 1: Descent only (thus keeps the protection lowered after nightfall) - Special motorized protective mechanism
  • Mode 2: Ascent/descent - Special motorized protective mechanism
  • Mode 3: Lifting/lowering of roller blinds with a stop above the sensor - Special bidirectional radio motorized roller blinds

At any time, the control can be taken under control using a remote control or an application. For optimal operation of modes 1 and 2, no roller blinds should interfere with the light coming to the sensor.

Characteristics of the light sensor

To be compatible, the protection motor or roller shutter must be a bidirectional AvosDim type radio. Here are a few more characteristics that you should also know:

  • Pairing: 1 sensor per AvosDim bi-directional motor
  • Radio frequency: 433.05 - 434.79 MHz
  • Transmission Power: 10 milliwatts
  • Brightness levels: from 15 to 75 klux
  • Range: 200m outdoors and 35m indoors
  • Operating temperature: -20 °C to 60 °C
  • Power Supply: 1 CR2032 3V battery
  • Charging Indicator: Yes
  • The optimal position is recommended: the lower part of the glass for better light capture
  • Sensor dimensions: ø45mm, thickness 15mm
  • Suction cup dimensions: ø47mm
  • Color: White
