General information

Design and materials
The valve body is made of galvanized steel from a European manufacturer. It has a high zinc content of 275 mg/m2, in while the traditional zinc content is no more than 140 mg/m2. The rotary vane uses fire-resistant material. Along the perimeter of the rotary vane there is a thermoactive seal, which expands under the influence of high temperatures and thereby ensures high tightness of the closed valve. Valve actuators are installed outside the body. Damper the valve automatically blocks the air flow by the return spring of the servo drive.
Application
Intended for installation in ventilation ducts, to prevent the spread of fire and combustion products from one room to another by covering air ducts in accordance with the relevant norms and standards. According to their functional purpose, they are used in accordance with the requirements of SNiP 2.04.05, DBN V. 1.1-7 in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in civil and industrial structures and buildings, in emergency smoke ventilation systems, for smoke removal in case of fire in order to ensure the evacuation of people from premises or structures at the initial stage of a fire that occurred in one of the premises.
The valves are allowed for operation in a non-aggressive environment with a temperature exceeding + 35°C and a relative humidity of up to 80% in rooms with an explosion-proof environment .

Values of damper overhangs beyond the fire damper body
When designing ventilation systems, it is necessary to take into account the damper overhang. Before and after the valve, it is necessary to design a straight section of the air duct with a cross-section equal to the cross-section of the valve, and a length equal to the damper overhang. FPD valves, which do not have an X2 blade overhang (up to B < 500 mm.), can be equipped with a protective mesh and used for shaft installation.
