The Vents VKPF 4D 500x250 fan is a rectangular duct fan and is used for use as part of a supply or exhaust ventilation system. The maximum performance of this model is 1850 m3/h. Design
The Vents VKPF 4D 500x250 fan housing is made of galvanized steel.
Motor
4 and 6 pole asynchronous motors with an external rotor and a galvanized steel impeller with forward curved blades are used. Fans with this turbine design are characterized by high performance and a relatively large pressure drop.
To provide thermal protection against overheating, thermal contacts with terminals for connecting external protection devices are built into the motor winding. The use of rolling bearings in engines ensures a long service life. To achieve precise performance, low noise levels and safe fan operation, each turbine undergoes dynamic balancing during assembly. The motor in the fan has a protection class of IP 44.
Speed adjustment
Adjustment can be either smooth or stepwise, and is carried out using a triac or autotransformer regulator. Several fans can be connected to one control device at once, provided that the total power and operating current do not exceed the rated parameters of the controller.
Installation
Fans are mounted through flexible inserts; they must be fastened to the building structure using supports, hangers or brackets.
The fan can be installed in any position, taking into account the direction of air flow (indicated by an arrow on the fan housing). It is also necessary to provide access for servicing the fan. Power is supplied to the fan through external terminals. For inspection and maintenance, the fan is equipped with a technological cover on the housing.
