A plastic flat duct 9020 with a cross-section of 90x220 mm and a length of 2 meters is used to move air in ventilation systems. It is one of the elements of the Plastivent plastic channel system, with which you can equip ventilation in both domestic and commercial premises.

- The channel is made of white PVC.
- Overall section: 90x220 mm.
- Internal cross-section: 86x216 mm.

- They are connected to each other using connectors of appropriate sections.
- The air duct is capable of passing through itself 400 m3/h at speed 5.98 m/s in the root section. In branches, the permissible air flow rate is 300 m3/h and below.

Example 1. It is necessary to select a root air duct for a supply and exhaust unit with a design capacity of 200 m³/h. The speed in the root section should be within 5-6 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 60x204 mm fits these parameters.
Example 2. It is necessary to select an air duct from the supply unit, which extends from the root air duct into the living room. The estimated capacity in this branch is 60 m³/h. The speed in the side air duct should be within 3-4 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 55x110 mm is suitable.
Example 3. A flat duct is required for a kitchen hood. Estimated extraction capacity 400 m?/h. The speed is allowed within 5-6 m/sec. For this task, according to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 90x220 mm is suitable.
