The electric motor of the roller shutters is pushed into the roller roller tube , also called the roller shaft . To maintain this motorization of the shutter requires a ring, also called a crown + wheel. These two elements make up the adaptation of the engine. The role of each is quite different:

Wheel: in your set of fixtures, this is an element designed to fasten the pipe and the engine during the operation of the roller shutter. It will be located between the engine head and the pipe. You should put it on the motor housing before inserting the ring and screwing it into the winding tube.
Ring/Crown: it is placed at the opposite end of the engine head. Completely hidden in the axis of the blinds, when the motor is installed, it allows you to accurately position the motor housing along its entire length and counts the number of revolutions made within the limit switches. It should be installed only after you put on the wheel.

Crowns and wheels are necessary for a tubular motor for roller shutters . It is extremely important that they are present, positioned correctly and in perfect condition to ensure their operation and protect the shutter from indirect damage, be sure to replace them in case of wear. Does the shutter not stop in the upper or lower position? Check the ring/crown in turn, it may be incorrectly installed or broken. And a wheel that may not be able to count the revolutions correctly

Delivery and transport

Products may be delivered using DOMIS.PRO's own transport or through specialised transport companies and logistics operators.

Shipping costs, delivery times and transport conditions depend on the destination, product availability, dimensions, weight and characteristics.

This information will be communicated to the customer before order confirmation or included in the relevant quotation.

Bulky products and special deliveries

Some products, such as large-format SPC and WPC decorative panels, profiles, windows, doors and pergolas, may require specialised transport or specific unloading arrangements.

Where additional services are required, such as lifting equipment, special unloading or access by specific vehicles, the conditions and costs will be communicated to the customer in advance.

Order collection

Collection of products from our premises may be arranged when this option is available and has been confirmed in advance by DOMIS.PRO.

The collection location, date and time will be agreed before handover.
