Fabric Characteristics
This fabric allows light to pass optimally. Its weight is 155 g/m2. It is easy to clean, just a wet sponge is enough.
The transparent fabric that we use to make your blinds conforms to the French M1 standard, the best fire safety certificate. Specifically, this ensures that in the event of a fire, the fabric will never ignite. M1 blinds burn very slowly, turn black, but without flames and streaks.
Blinds with fire protection standard M1 are blinds necessary for public places and/or crowded places: administrations, schools, hotels, restaurants, ... And it's not for nothing that they are responsible for the safety of people.
Heavy-duty aluminum tube : We chose it to withstand the heaviest weights without bending. Our craftsmen work with two diameters. The choice depends on your size, and every precaution is taken to ensure the quality of the roller blinds over time. When several rolled pipes fit your size, we systematically offer you a choice that allows you to combine several blinds in one room or on one wall.
Retractable tip mechanism: As soon as the locking tabs are placed on the support, the rolled fabric tube is attached to it by simple snapping with amazing ease! Because thanks to the ingenious retractable eye bolt, there is no need to insert the tube by force. What a pleasure to ride!
Available in several colors (a thin section of the mechanism is visible at each end of the winding, between the cover and the mesh fabric), the corresponding end caps of the ballast rods.
Reinforced metal mounting brackets: Regardless of the weight of your roller curtain, it is perfectly preserved! There is no risk of stalling! The mounting eye is shown here with a thread in the integral type cover (see 2 existing models below).
Built-in side covers - LIMITED EDITION : The built-in covers are put on metal fixing protrusions the result! Available in several colors.
Simple side covers: they are attached to metal fixing tabs at the ends of the mechanism. The wall return, which is used to attach to the support, remains bare, unlike the built-in model in the limited edition. Available in several colors.
Full aluminum cargo rod finish : cargo rod is visible, modern finish is guaranteed! Link with a metal chain to optimize the wow effect! Dimensions B30 x W15 mm.
Metal chain: Decidedly modern, it gives an undeniable elegance to all the blinds with which it is associated. This is the finish of choice! The diameter is 5mm. Available in PVC. All chains can be cut with scissors.
Child safety: This is a transparent support that is screwed to the wall to always be calm (against suffocation). Its translucent color makes it almost invisible. The mounting of this support to the wall complies with the European standard EN 13120 . Comes with all chain blinds.
Rather blind with or without a chain?
Custom-made AvosDim roller blinds are controlled by a chain, a simple wave of the hand or using a remote control.
- Chain: easy to use, this is the most common maneuver. Its length conforms to the European standard EN 13120 to protect young children from accidental suffocation. Thus, for a louver height > 2500 mm, the length of the louver chain is 1000 mm; beyond it 1500 mm.
- Automatic lifting: the course of the awning is regulated by a spring hidden in the tube. Your hand accompanies the lowering of the roller blind. Where the fabric is sagging, the curtain rises a little, and then it is fixed. Due to the absence of a chain, the automatic roller shutter ensures the safety of children and has a more modern and aesthetic appearance.
The width of the automatic awning should be from 580 to 1800 mm, and the height should not exceed 2000 mm. The color of the mechanism is available exclusively in white. - Motorization: there is no need to mess with the power supply, the motor is WiFi, wireless. We dedicate a whole paragraph below to this, open it quickly!
For your comfort, motorize the roller shutters!
Is the width of your blinds at least 535 mm? Choose a motorized maneuver and easily control your awning from the remote control! We equip the winding tube with our AvosDim 005329 or 005349 cordless motors depending on the weight of the blinds, which do not require electrical connection and therefore do not require work! A simple micro USB cable (not included) is enough to charge the lithium battery built into the motor. Its autonomy? From 6 to 12 months, depending on use.
Safer for children and more aesthetic, motorized blinds do not have chains (do not pay attention to their display on a blind viewer).

To control the blinds motors, don't forget to add at least one remote control to control them. You have a choice between the 1-channel bidirectional remote control 005318 or the 15-channel version 005351. The 1-channel remote control can control either one curtain or 1 group of multiple blinds, and the 15-channel remote can control 15 blinds individually or 15 groups of blinds (one group controls up to 20 blinds at the same time!).
The motorized awning can be controlled from a mobile application.

Thanks to the feedback available to the engine, you can manage the store from your phone from anywhere in the world through a free app available on Apple and Android. The very practical box is compatible with speakers connected to Alexa and Google Home! Well-designed, it is scalable and continues to improve.

How to take off the dimensions before ordering a roll-up curtain
WHAT SIZES TO TELL US
The dimensions reported to us are exclusively the dimensions A and B shown in all our diagrams below:
A - THE TOTAL WIDTH OF THE BLINDS: This measurement includes the width of the fabric + the side mechanism of the blinds. This mechanism is 37 mm longer than the canvas in total. Example: to cover glazing with a width of 500 mm, we report a total width of 537 mm (500 mm of canvas + 37 mm of mechanism).
B - THE TOTAL HEIGHT OF THE BLINDS: Imagine that your curtain is fully deployed, and specify the distance between the upper end (roller) and the lower end (loader).
C - FABRIC WIDTH: the width of the fabric is 37 mm less than the total width of the blinds (A). To achieve optimal results, we recommend extending the fabric by at least 10 mm on each side of the glazing, as far as possible (watch the handles!).
D - DIMENSIONS OF THE COVER MOUNTING: If the width of the roller blind is less than or equal to 2000 mm, the size is 63 mm (individual covers) or 65 mm (built-in covers).
If the width of the roller blind is more than 2000 mm, the size is either 70 mm (single blinds) or 69 mm (built-in blinds).
E - DIMENSIONS OF THE COVER MOUNTING: If the width of the roller blind is less than or equal to 2000 mm, the size is 51 mm (individual covers) or 52 mm (built-in covers).
If the width of the roller blind is more than 2000 mm, the size is either 55 mm (single blinds) or 77 mm (built-in blinds).
CHAIN LENGTH: For your safety, we comply with the European standard EN 13120, designed to protect young children from accidental suffocation. So for a louver height > 2500 mm, your louver chain has a length of 1000 mm; in addition, its length is 1500 mm.All our chains can be easily cut if necessary. A wall bracket is provided for tensioning the chain of the roller curtain . This mount is equipped with a red transport protective device (it should be removed and disposed of upon receipt).
