Compatibility
Our AvosDim electric drives are ideal for roller shutters and blinds that you want to control with a switch (not included). Regardless of the brand, the only requirement is compatibility with the roller shutter drive (up, down, stop buttons).

Choose the right power
The engine power must be selected according to the weight of the blinds - the weight is calculated after reading the dimensions of the height and width of the visible apron of the slats.
Apron weight estimation
width* x height* x (weight per m2 **)

** estimated weight of the bar: PVC (4 kg/m2), aluminum (4.5 kg/m2), wood (11 kg/m2)
For example, a set of aluminum slats has dimensions of 1.2 x 1.5 m :
1.2 x 1.5 x 4.5 = 8.1 kg.You have to choose an engine corresponding to the power capable of lifting at least 8.1 kg. 10 Nm here.
It is believed that 1 Nm supports 2 kg. Refer to the most suitable capacity.
Our advice: If the adaptation of a motor more powerful than necessary is not harmful, then on the contrary it can lead to irreversible failure, which is not guaranteed - Be sure to follow the recommendations to save the life of your motor.
Select adaptations
Your chosen set of devices will consist of a wheel and a crown . One allows the motor to control the axis during rotation, and the other counts the number of revolutions to mark a stop at the right place (stops).
The choice of devices should be made depending on the brand of the engine, its diameter and the shaft model. If it's a similar engine replacement, you don't need to purchase them. Otherwise they are necessary.
The devices we have are compatible with octahedral axes with a diameter of 40 mm .
Choose suitable engine supports
Engine supports are also important . Attached to one of the side walls of the shutter casing (on the engine side), they serve to securely fix the motor/shaft/casing assembly.
Our choice takes into account compatibility with the selected engine head.
