The Vents VKPI 4D 500x300 fan is a three-phase duct fan for operation as part of duct-type ventilation systems with a cross-section of 500x300 mm. Used for ventilation of rooms where there is an increased requirement for noise levels. The fan housing is insulated with sound insulation based on 50 mm thick mineral wool. The maximum productivity of this model is 1380 m3/h.

Design
The Vents VKPI 4D 500x300 fan housing is made of galvanized steel. VKPI models have a layer of sound and heat insulation made of mineral wool 50 mm thick.
Motor
2- and 4-pole asynchronous motors with an external rotor are used, which have an impeller with backward-curved blades made of galvanized steel. To provide thermal protection against overheating, thermal contacts with automatic restart or with terminals for connecting external protection devices are built into the motor windings (depending on the model, see connection diagrams).
The use of rolling bearings in engines ensures a long service life. To achieve precise performance, low noise levels and safe fan operation, each turbine undergoes dynamic balancing during assembly. The motor in the fan has a protection class of IP 44.
Speed adjustment
Adjustment can be either smooth or stepwise, and is carried out using a triac or autotransformer regulator. Fans can be connected several at a time to one control device, provided that the total power and operating current do not exceed the rated parameters of the controller.
Installation
The fans are mounted in the gap of rectangular air ducts and do not require special fastening if the connection is made directly to them. In the case of connection through flexible inserts, it is necessary to fasten it to the building structure using supports, hangers or brackets.
The fan can be installed in any position, taking into account the direction of air flow (indicated by an arrow on the fan housing). It is also necessary to provide access for servicing the fan. Power is supplied to the fan through external terminals. For inspection and maintenance, a technological cover is provided on the fan housing.
