The Vents VKM 315 fan is a round duct centrifugal fan in a metal casing. Maximum productivity - 1400 m3/h. The fan's protection class and the polymer coating of the casing allow the fan to be used for outdoor installation. The fan is used to move air in supply and exhaust systems with the temperature of the moved air from -25°C to + 50°C.
The fan uses a single-phase motor; the fan's performance can be adjusted using a thyristor regulator, which is supplied separately.

Design
The Vents VKM 315 fan housing is made of polymer-coated steel.
Motor
Single-phase external rotor motors are equipped with a centrifugal impeller with backward-curved blades. The motors have built-in thermal protection with automatic restart. For some standard sizes, a motor version with more powerful characteristics (VKMS) is available.
The motors are equipped with rolling bearings to ensure a longer service life (40,000 hours). To achieve precise performance, safe operation and low noise levels, each turbine undergoes dynamic balancing during assembly. Motor protection class IP 44.
Speed adjustment
Smooth or step adjustment and carried out using a thyristor or autotransformer. Several fans can be connected to one control device at once, provided that the total power and operating current do not exceed the rated parameters of the controller.

Installation
Installation at any angle relative to the fan axis is allowed . Connection to the wall is carried out using mounting brackets, which are included in the delivery set. Power is supplied to the fan through the external terminal box. Electrical connection and installation must be carried out in accordance with the instructions and electrical diagram indicated on the terminal box.
Installation example
The figure shows an exhaust ventilation diagram based on a VKM fan. To remove air from the cafe hall, a network of exhaust air ducts, round grilles (anemostats), a silencer to reduce the noise level from the ventilation system, a check valve (not shown in the diagram), and flexible inserts are used.
A hole with a diameter of 315 mm is made in the outer wall to lead the exhaust air duct to the street above the roof of the building. An air duct enters the room. A KOM 315 check valve is installed between the fan and the outer wall. The fan is connected to the air ducts through flexible inserts, VVG 315, which prevent the transmission of vibration from the fan to the air duct network. A CP 315/900 silencer is installed between the air duct network and the fan, which reduces the noise level in the air ducts from the fan. Air is removed through four A 200 VR anemostats installed on the air ducts. The air flow rate removed from the room at each grille is adjusted by rotating the anemostat poppet valve.
If the fan is planned to be used as a supply fan, it is necessary to provide air filtration and heating during the cold season. For this task, a filter and a heater are used. Filters can be cassette or pocket. The power of the electric heater is adjusted by an automatic system or a built-in heating control unit (Vents NK..U series of electric heaters).
