The Vents VKPFI 4D 700x400 fan is supplied in a sound-insulated casing. Used in supply and exhaust ventilation systems for premises where there are high requirements for low noise levels. Connects to rectangular air ducts with a cross section of 700x400 mm. Equipped with a three-phase motor, fan performance can be adjusted using a speed controller (supplied separately).

Design
The Vents VKPFI 4D 700x400 fan housing is made of galvanized steel. VKPFI models have a layer of sound and heat insulation made of mineral wool 50 mm thick.
Motor
4 and 6-pole asynchronous motors with an external rotor and a galvanized steel impeller with forward curved blades are used. Fans with this turbine design are characterized by high performance and a relatively large pressure drop. To provide thermal protection against overheating, thermal contacts with terminals for connecting external protection devices are built into the motor winding. The use of rolling bearings in engines ensures a long service life. To achieve precise performance, low noise levels and safe fan operation, each turbine undergoes dynamic balancing during assembly. The motor in the fan has a protection class of IP 44.
Speed adjustment
Adjustment can be either smooth or stepwise, and is carried out using a triac or autotransformer regulator. Several fans can be connected to one control device at once, provided that the total power and operating current do not exceed the rated parameters of the controller.
Installation
The fans are mounted in the gap of rectangular air ducts and do not require special fastening if the connection is made directly to them. In the case of connection through flexible inserts, it is necessary to fasten it to the building structure using supports, hangers or brackets. The fan can be installed in any position, taking into account the direction of air flow (indicated by an arrow on the fan housing). It is also necessary to provide access for servicing the fan. Power is supplied to the fan through external terminals. For inspection and maintenance, the fan is equipped with a technological cover on the housing.
