How a fan with a timer works
The timer fan is activated by an external switch, this could be a light switch. After turning off, it continues to work for the time set on the shutdown timer, which can be set in the range from 2 to 30 minutes, and turns off.
Connection diagram
The following wires must be connected to the terminal block in this modification of the fan:
- direct phase to terminal L
- phase through the light switch to terminal LT
- zero to terminal N
