Brief description:
The mechanical air differential pressure switch PS is used to control excess pressure, pressure difference in gaseous non-aggressive media, in air supply and exhaust devices.
All relays are tested and calibrated at the factory.

Sensor design
The relay housing is made in the form of a square-shaped mounting box and is made of durable plastic with high impact strength. The housing cover is transparent, with latches, and provides adequate protection against the ingress of dust, moisture and other foreign particles into the housing - degree of protection IP54. The housing is also equipped with an M16 cable gland and two nipples for connecting hoses.
Controls and indicators
PS differential pressure switches are equipped with a silicone measuring membrane.

Installation and connection conditions
The relays are designed to operate in the temperature range of -20...+60 °C, suitable for installation both outdoors and in technical rooms. The installation must take place in a de-energized state, and the connection must be made to a safe low voltage.
An example of installation and operation of the PS 500 relay for monitoring filter clogging:
STEP1. Installation:
The relay is connected to the object using two fittings and an impulse tube, which are supplied in the kit. The high pressure fitting (+P) is connected before the filter, and the low pressure fitting (-P) is connected after the filter.
STEP2. Setting:
After installing the relay and connecting the signal cables, the relay response setting is adjusted using a rotary handle with a printed scale in the range indicated on the scale.
STEP3. Operation:

When the filter is clean (the pressure drop across the filter is less than the set point), the relay is off and the alarm is disabled;

After replacement or cleaning filter (the pressure drop is equal to the “set minus differential”) the relay contacts are again switched to the off state.
