The air supply unit Vents PA 02 E is used to operate as part of supply ventilation through a network of air ducts. The installation uses an electric heater with a maximum consumption of18 kW. The supply unit can provide fresh air with a nominal capacity of2500 m3/h. The unit is intended for installation in a closed room with positive temperatures. The unit is completely ready for operation and does not require separate settings; it is supplied with an automation system.
House
The body of the unit is made of aluminum-zinc. Sound insulation and thermal insulation are achieved through the use of a 50 mm thick layer of mineral wool.
Filter
A filter with replaceable inserts is used to filter the outside air in the unit. Filtration class - G4.
Heater
PA units are equipped with electric heaters with built-in overheating protection.
Fan
The units are equipped with a high-pressure open-frame radial fan directly driven by an electric motor with an external rotor. The impeller blades are curved backwards. The fan provides optimal performance characteristics: air flow, noise level and efficiency. The fan can be easily removed from the housing for inspection and cleaning.
Installation
The Vents PA 02 E air supply unit is mounted on the floor, suspended from the ceiling using a mounting bracket with a vibration insert, or mounted on the wall using brackets. The installation can be placed both in auxiliary rooms and in the main ones (above a suspended ceiling, in a niche or in an open way). All electrical connections are made through the terminal block located in the junction box.
PA air handling units are equipped with brackets to facilitate installation of the unit. The unit can be mounted in any position, except vertical, when the air flow is directed downwards (heating elements should not be under the fan). It is necessary to provide the possibility of access to the unit in cases of servicing and cleaning the filter.
Control and automation
The unit comes with a built-in control and automation system that allows you to regulate the fan performance (3 speeds), set the supply air temperature, monitor the condition (degree of contamination) of the filter. In addition, the automation system provides active protection against overheating of the heater heating elements (for PA...E). The unit can be controlled from a distance using a remote control.
The remote control provides
- turning on/off the ventilation unit
- the ability to set the required air flow ,
- opportunity to set the desired supply air temperature,
- display of room temperature,
- display of a fault (emergency situation).
PA...E control and protection functions
- remote switching on and off of the unit
- setting the required supply air temperature from the control panel and maintaining the set temperature (heater control using optosimistor),
- adjusting the fan rotation speed from the control panel,
- working out the necessary algorithms when turning the unit on and off,
- operating the unit using a timer,
- active protection against overheating of heater heating elements,
- exclusion of operation of the electric heater without turning on the fan,
- protection of the electric heater from overheating (two thermostats),
- control of the degree of clogging filter (differential pressure sensor).

3. Smooth control of fan speed 3~380V (50Hz).
4 Maintaining a given supply air temperature or room temperature.
5. Control of a liquid air heater and monitoring its operation.
6. Control of a compressor-condensing unit (CCU) for systems with a cooler .
7. Exhaust fan start signal.
8. Possibility of individual configuration of all parameters of the ventilation system.
9. Stopping the system upon a signal from the fire alarm panel.
