Air supply unit Vents MPA 1200 V

The compact unit Vents MPA 1200 V with a water heater is intended for use as part of a supply ventilation system. The supply unit is capable of supplying outside air with a nominal capacity of1200 m3/h. The supply air is prepared in the installation - filtered and heated to the required temperature. The unit is connected to air ducts or other ventilation elements with a cross-section of 400x200 mm.

House

The body of the Vents MPA 1200 V unit is made of aluminum-zinc steel, which is more durable compared to conventional galvanized steel. To prevent heat loss and reduce noise levels, the unit body is insulated with 25 mm thick mineral wool. To allow for service maintenance, one of the walls of the unit can be opened.

Filter

To prevent pollutants in the outside air from entering the ventilation system, the unit is equipped with a filter with a replaceable cassette. Filtration class G4.

Heater

Heating of the supply air in the cold season is carried out using a built-in water heater.

Fan

In the installation A centrifugal fan with forward-curved blades is used. To protect the fan motor, thermal protection with automatic restart is provided. Electric motors use ball bearings. Sealed rolling bearings require virtually no maintenance. Their service life is up to 40,000 hours.

Installation control

The unit comes with a built-in automation system based on the controller.

Functions of the built-in automation system for the air supply unit

• turning the unit on and off
• protecting the air heater from freezing
• signaling the need to clean filters or replace them
• the ability to adjust the performance of the air handling unit. Step adjustment - 3 speeds are possible.
• operation of the unit by timer
• maintaining the set supply air temperature by influencing the drive of a three-way valve that regulates the supply of coolant to the liquid heater
• control and monitoring of the operation of an external circulation pump installed on the coolant supply line to the liquid heater (mixing unit pump),
• stopping the system upon command from the fire alarm panel
• controlling the air valve drive

If there is a mixing unit, the control panel allows you to maintain the set air temperature in the room by changing the coolant flow through the air heater. The use of a mixing unit with a pump allows the previously described regulation to be carried out when the coolant pressure difference in the forward and return lines is less than 40 kPa. The mixing unit with pump helps prevent the heat exchanger from freezing and provides additional time for operational measures in the event of an emergency. (The mixing unit must be ordered separately.)

Installation

The air handling unit can be placed in utility rooms (balcony, loggia, dressing room) or in the main rooms under the ceiling or in niche.

The unit can be mounted on the floor, ceiling or wall using brackets. During installation, it must be taken into account that access to the installation is required for servicing, i.e. it is necessary to provide an inspection hatch or another method.

Using the installation using the example of office ventilation

The MPA supply unit is installed in the ceiling space. For air intake and exhaust, holes are made in the outer walls. Fresh air passes through the external grille, enters the unit, where it is filtered, if necessary, heated to the required temperature and from the unit is supplied through a network of air ducts through grilles to the offices. Air is removed using an exhaust fan through a network of air ducts. Thus, with the help of a supply unit and an exhaust fan, the required calculated air exchange is carried out to ensure comfortable ventilation in office premises.
