Vents VUT 200 V mini EC

The supply and exhaust unit Vents VUT 200 V mini EC is used for ventilation of apartments, houses, offices or commercial premises. This series of units is equipped with high efficiency DC motors. The installation can provide air supply and exhaust removal with a nominal capacity of240 m3/h. The actual amount of performance depends on the aerodynamic resistance of the duct network and components (length of ducts, number of turns, grilles, valves, etc.). The maximum consumption of the installation is only210 Wwhich can significantly reduce energy costs.

The installation is used in conjunction with a network of air ducts with a cross-section of 100 mm, installation of the VUT mini must be carried out in a vertical positionin a closed room with a positive temperature. Since the installation uses heat recovery during operation, it is necessary to provide drainage from the installation to the street or to the sewer system.

House

The body is made of aluminum-zinc steel, with internal heat and sound insulation 20 mm thick made of mineral wool.

Filter

To filter supply and exhaust air, the unit has two built-in filters with a cleaning degree of G4.

Motor

Highly efficient electronically commutated (EC) motors are used DC with an external rotor and an impeller with backward-curved blades. Such motors are by far the most advanced solution in the field of energy saving. EC motors are characterized by high performance and optimal control over the entire speed range. The undoubted advantage of an electronically commutated motor is its high efficiency (reaches 90%).

Fans

The Vents VUT 200 V mini EC installation is equipped with supply and exhaust centrifugal fans with backward curved blades and built-in protection thermostat with automatic restart. Electric motors and impellers are dynamically balanced in two planes.

Recuperator

The plate recuperator is made of aluminum plates. A “summer” liner is provided for operating the unit without recuperation. Under the recuperator block there is a tray for collecting and discharging condensate. The air handling unit is equipped with a built-in system for protecting the recuperator from freezing.

During the operation of the recuperator in the cold season, heat is transferred from warm exhaust air to cold supply air. In this case, condensation may form in the recuperator during the cooling of the exhaust air, and when the temperature of the supply air entering the recuperator on the other side is on average below -5°C, the condensate in the exhaust ducts may freeze.

To avoid freezing of the recuperator, electronic anti-freeze protection is used. Its essence is that the temperature sensor turns off the supply fan. Warm exhaust air warms up the recuperator. Then the supply fan turns on and the entire installation operates as usual.

Control

Is carried out using an external control signal 0-10 V (for example, using the P-1/010 regulator for EC motors). Performance adjustment is carried out depending on the level of temperature, pressure, smoke and other system parameters. When the value of the control factor changes, the EC motor changes the rotation speed and supplies exactly as much air as is necessary for the ventilation system.

Installation

The air handling unit is mounted on the floor, suspended from the ceiling using a mounting angle with a vibration insert, or mounted on the wall using brackets. The installation can be placed both in auxiliary rooms and in the main ones (behind a suspended ceiling, in a niche or in an open way). It can only be installed in such a position as to ensure collection and drainage of condensate. Access for service and filter cleaning is from the folding side panel.
