Vents VUT 300 EV mini EC

The air handling unit Vents VUT 300 EV mini EC with heat recovery is used to provide ventilation for residential or commercial premises. High productivity up to 270 m3/h, low consumption level (1.6 kWat low outside temperatures) using heat recovery allow this unit to be used for continuous operation at low outside temperatures air temperatures.

The units are used only with a network of air ducts with a cross-section of ?125 mm. Installation must be done indoors with a positive temperature - utility room, attic, basement, glazed loggia.

House

The body is made of two-layer aluminum-zinc steel with internal heat and sound insulation made of 15 mm thick mineral wool.

Filter

To filter the supply and exhaust air, the unit uses two pocket filters with a cleaning degree of G4.

Fans

Uses highly efficient electronically commutated (EC) external rotor DC motors equipped with backward-curved impellers. Such motors are by far the most advanced solution in the field of energy saving. EC motors are characterized by high performance and optimal control over the entire speed range. The undoubted advantage of an electronically commutated motor is its high efficiency (up to 90%).

Recuperators

The installations use plate recuperators of counterflow type with high heat recovery efficiency made of polystyrene. Under the recuperator block there is a tray for collecting and discharging condensate.

The recuperator is protected from frostbite by periodically stopping the supply fan for the time required for defrosting, based on a signal from the temperature sensor.

If necessary, the recuperator can be easily removed for cleaning.

Heater

The units are equipped with an electric heater located after the recuperator and heats the supply air to a comfortable temperature (up to +30°C). The heater heating elements are protected from overheating by active protection via a temperature sensor in the ventilation duct, as well as by a signal from the built-in thermal contacts: at 50°C with automatic restart and at 90°C with manual restart. At the end of each heating cycle, the heating elements are purged.

Control and automation

The installation is equipped with a built-in automation system controlled using a multifunctional built-in (model VUT 300 EV mini EC) or remote control (included in delivery).

Control and protection functions:

  • Turning the installation on/off from the control panel. Blowing heating elements when turned off.
  • Three fan speeds. Each speed is adjusted at the setup stage.
  • An electric heater after the recuperator that maintains a comfortable temperature of the air entering the premises.
  • Input for an emergency signal from the fire alarm system.
  • Protection of the heat exchanger from freezing by turning off the supply fan during defrosting.
  • Relay input for connecting a CO2 / humidity / IAQ sensor or any other sensor, the signal from which switches the unit to maximum speed.
  • Monitoring filter clogging using the engine hour meter.
  • Setting up the unit’s operation using a weekly timer.

Installation

The unit is mounted to the wall using anchor bolts in position , ensuring the collection and removal of condensate into the drainage. When installing the unit, it is necessary to provide convenient access for maintenance. For correct operation of the supply air reheating function, a duct temperature sensor (included in the delivery set) is installed in the air duct at a distance of at least 1 m from the air supply pipe to the room.
