Vents VUT 400 G EC is an air handling unit without a heater. To heat the air, a heat recuperator is used, which heats the supply air from the heat of the air removed from the apartment. The installation uses energy-efficient fans with EC electric motors. The unit's power consumption is only210 Wwith fairly good performance up to400 m3/hand good fan pressure up to700 Pa.
The unit body is made of aluminum profile and sandwich panels with internal heat and sound insulation made of 25 mm thick mineral wool.
Filter
To filter the supply and exhaust air, the unit has two built-in filters with a cleaning degree of G4 (exhaust) and F7 (supply).
Motor
Highly efficient external rotor electronically commutated (EC) DC motors are used, equipped with a double-suction impeller with forward-curved blades. Such motors are by far the most advanced solution in the field of energy saving. EC motors are characterized by high performance and optimal control over the entire speed range. The undoubted advantage of an electronically commutated motor is its high efficiency (up to 90%).
Fans
The Vents VUT 400 G EC unit is equipped with supply and exhaust centrifugal fans on both sides suction with forward curved blades and built-in protection thermostat with automatic restart. Electric motors and impellers are dynamically balanced in two planes. Rolling ball bearings of electric motors do not require maintenance; their service life is at least 40,000 hours.
Recuperator
The counterflow recuperator is made of polystyrene plates. For operation of the unit without recuperation, a “summer” liner is provided. Under the recuperator block there is a tray for collecting and discharging condensate. The supply and exhaust unit is equipped with a built-in system for protecting the recuperator from freezing during the cold season. Its essence is that the temperature sensor turns off the supply fan and the warm exhaust air warms up the recuperator. Then the supply fan turns on, and the entire installation operates as usual.
Control
This model comes in two versions:
VUT H EC is equipped with an A2 speed regulator (R-1/010). Using the regulator, you can turn on the installation and select the required performance of the installation. This is the simplest installation package.
VUT H ES Comfo includes an automation system with a display and remote control.
Using this system you can:
- change performance installations. Three speeds are available, the value of each speed can be adjusted using the display
- set automatic on and offsettings, select performance depending on the day of the week and time. There are four entries available for one day.
- to see that there is a need to replace or clean the filters. The display will inform you about the need to replace or clean the filters
- see accident information. If an accident occurs, the installation turns off and the display informs about the need to contact service
Also, the following external devices can be connected to the automation system of this installation:
- fire alarm, which in case of fire, it will automatically turn off the installation
- humidity sensor or CO2 sensor
- motorized damper control
