The Vents VUT 180 P5B EC air handling unit is made of polypropylene, which has high heat and sound insulation properties. Recovery efficiency from86 to 98%. The maximum output is220 m3/h. It is a ready-made ventilation unit with a control system for working together with the air duct system. The installation is characterized by low consumption, which does not exceed 87 W per hour, due to the use of an anti-freeze system and a polystyrene heat exchanger.

House
The body of the unit is made of foamed polypropylene EPP with a thickness of 15-30 mm, the material allows you to achieve high levels of thermal insulation and noise reduction efficiency.
Filtration
To filter supply and exhaust air, the unit uses two pocket filters with a cleaning degree of G4 and one F7. Fine filter F7 and coarse filter G4 are used for stepwise filtration of supply air.
Fans
The fans use energy-efficient EC motors with low energy consumption. The total power consumption of the installation does not exceed 87 W per hour.
Recuperators
The installation uses a recuperator made of polystyrene. During the cold season, heat and moisture from the exhaust air are transferred to the supply air, which reduces heat loss in the room.
The unit is equipped with a bypass damper for summer operation. In this mode, the air is directed bypassing the recuperator, while the temperature of the street air supplied to the premises does not change. In this modification, the damper is controlled manually.

Control system
The unit is equipped with a built-in automation system and a touch wall panel control A14 with LED indication. The control panel is wall mounted.
To prevent the recuperator from freezing during the cold season, the unit is equipped with an active protection system. The temperature sensor stops the supply fan, while the warm exhaust air warms up the recuperators. The supply fan then turns on and the unit continues to operate as normal.
Thus, the supply air performance in the cold season will be lower due to periodic shutdown of the fan. This frost protection eliminates the need for an electric heater, resulting in low operating costs.
Operating modes
Using the air handling unit control system, you can perform the following actions:
- Turn the unit on/off,
- Selecting a performance mode within a range of fixed three speeds: minimum, medium and maximum.
- Selecting a performance mode from 0 to 100%
- Indication of the need to replace the filter.
- Alarm indication
It is also possible to connect CO2, humidity sensors or any other sensor (relay input), the signal from which can switch the performance to maximum (All sensors are purchased separately, not included in the delivery package) .
Installation
The installation is intended for installation in a room with positive temperatures. Can be installed on a balcony, pantry, basement, attic and other auxiliary rooms.
The unit has a drainage outlet, so it can be mounted to the ceiling or mounted on a wall vertically or horizontally, as shown in the diagram below. Drainage from the installation must be discharged into the sewer system. When installing the drainage system outdoors, it is necessary to provide additional heating for the drainage (not included in the delivery package).

Working with software
This ventilation unit can be connected using USB cable to PC to change installation parameters settings.
Using the software you can change:
- each of the three preset speeds (minimum, average, maximum) in the range from 0 to 100%
- speed when a dry contact is closed (for connecting external devices) in the range from 0 to 100%
- frequency of the signal to replace (clean) the filter in the range from 0 to 10,000 operating hours
- humidity level of the connected external sensor (sensor purchased separately) from 30 to 80%
