Vents VUT 2000 PE EC

Vents VUT 2000 PE EC is a compact air handling unit with heat recovery and electric heating. The installation is designed to provide complete ventilation for residential or commercial premises. To heat fresh air, a recuperator and an electric heater with a capacity of 12 kW are used. The nominal capacity of the unit is 2000 m3/h.

The ventilation unit is delivered completely ready for operation and is equipped with an automation system. Air ducts with a diameter of 315 mmor rectangular air ducts with the same cross-sectional area are connected to the unit.

House

The body is made of aluminum-zinc with internal heat and sound insulation from mineral wool 50 mm thick.

Filter

To filter supply and exhaust air, the unit has two built-in filters with a cleaning degree of G4 (exhaust) and F7 (supply).

Motor

Uses high-efficiency external rotor electronically commutated (EC) DC motors equipped with backward-curved impellers. Such motors are by far the most advanced solution in the field of energy saving. EC motors are characterized by high performance and optimal control over the entire speed range. The undoubted advantage of an electronically commutated motor is its high efficiency (up to 90%).

Recuperator

Vents VUT 2000 PE EC units use a plate cross-current recuperator made of aluminum. Under the recuperator block there is a tray for collecting and discharging condensate.

Heater

To operate the air handling unit at low outside temperatures, an electric heater is installed (for VUT PE units). If using heat recovery it is not possible to achieve the set value of the supply air temperature, the heater is automatically turned on and heats the air entering the room.

Automatic

The unit is equipped with a built-in automation system and a multifunctional wired remote control control with graphic indicator. The standard installation kit includes a 10 m long wire for connecting to the remote control. To prevent the recuperator from freezing, electronic anti-freeze protection is used using a bypass and a heater. Its essence is that, based on the temperature sensor, the bypass damper opens and the supply air passes past the recuperator through the bypass channel.

During the defrosting period of the recuperator, the supply air is heated to the required temperature in the heater. During defrosting, warm exhaust air warms up the recuperator. Then the damper closes the bypass, the heater turns off, the supply air again passes through the recuperator and the entire installation operates as usual.

Control and protection functions of VUT PE (EC)

The VUT PE EC unit is equipped with a remote control with a color touchscreen LCD display PU SENS 01.

'LCD

The following functions are available in the installation automation system:

  • turning the installation on and off
  • the ability to use the control panel to set the desired supply air temperature and maintain the set one
  • the ability to use the control panel to regulate the fan rotation speed and, accordingly, change the performance of the installation
  • the ability to control the electric drives of the air dampers,
  • when the unit is turned on and off, the necessary algorithms are worked out,
  • the unit operates on a weekly timer,
  • active protection against overheating of the heater heating elements,< /li>
  • exclusion of the operation of the electric heater without turning on the fan,
  • two thermostats are installed to protect the electric heater from overheating,
  • the automation system is protected from short circuits by a circuit breaker,
  • < li>the degree of filter clogging is controlled.

The air handling unit is equipped with a remote control that provides:

  • turning on/off the ventilation unit
  • setting the required air flow,
  • setting the required supply air temperature,
  • displaying room temperature,
  • displaying a fault (emergency situation).

Installation

The air handling unit is mounted on the floor, suspended from the ceiling using a mounting bracket with a vibration insert, or mounted on the wall using brackets. The installation can be placed both in auxiliary rooms and in the main ones (behind a suspended ceiling, in a niche or in an open way). It can only be installed in such a position as to ensure collection and drainage of condensate. Access for service and filter cleaning is from the side panels.
