Vents VUT 300 E2V EC

The supply and exhaust unit Vents VUT 300 E2V EC with heat recovery is a completely finished ventilation unit that provides filtration and supply of fresh air to the premises and removal of polluted air. In this case, the heat of the exhaust air is transferred to the supply air through a plate recuperator.

The unit is designed for energy-efficient ventilation of private houses and apartments in conditions of low outdoor temperatures. The unit is attached to the wall or installed on the floor. The heat exchanger is protected from freezing using electrical preheating of the outside air.

Ventilation unit with rated capacity 300 m3/hequipped with two electric heaters. Designed for connection with round air ducts with a nominal diameter of 150 mm.

Housing

The casing is made of two-layer aluminum-zinc steel with internal heat and sound insulation made of thick mineral wool 20 mm.

Filter

To filter supply and exhaust air, the unit uses two pocket filters with a cleaning degree of G4.

Fans

High efficiency electronically commutated (EC) external rotor DC motors are used, equipped with impellers and backward curved wheels. Such motors are by far the most advanced solution in the field of energy saving. EC motors are characterized by high performance and optimal control over the entire speed range. The user has the ability to set one of three rotation speeds using the remote control. Rotation speeds are adjusted individually for supply and exhaust fans during the system setup stage.

Recuperator

The installation uses a counterflow type recuperator with high heat recovery efficiency (up to 95%), made of polystyrene. Under the recuperator block there is a tray for collecting and discharging condensate.

The recuperator is protected from freezing by electrically preheating the street air. A special heat exchanger protection algorithm provides for a short-term reduction in fan speed at temperatures below -30°C, if the preheating power is not enough to maintain optimal recovery efficiency.

If necessary, the heat exchanger can be easily removed for cleaning.

Heater

The units are equipped with two electric heaters. The first heater, located in front of the recuperator, heats the air coming from the street to a temperature that prevents freezing of the recuperator and maintains maximum recovery efficiency.

The second heater, located after the recuperator, heats the supply air to a comfortable temperature set by the user. The heater heating elements are protected from overheating by active protection based on a temperature sensor in the ventilation duct, as well as a signal from the built-in thermal contacts: at 50°C with automatic restart and at 90°C with manual restart. At the end of each heating cycle, the heating elements are purged.

Control and automation

The installation is equipped with a control panel with a graphic display carried out on a 10 m cable. All installations are equipped with a remote control panel.

Automatic functions:

  • Turning on/off the installation from the control panel. Blowing heating elements when turned off.
  • Three fan speeds. Each speed can be adjusted during the setup phase.
  • Adjustment of electrical preheating power at low outside temperatures. Automatic reduction of fan speed when preheating power is insufficient.
  • An electric heater after the recuperator that maintains a comfortable temperature of the air entering the premises. The reheating temperature is adjusted during commissioning in the range from +16 to +26 °C. Using the remote control, you can turn on/off the reheating function.
  • Possibility of connecting automatic air dampers.
  • Input for an emergency signal from the fire alarm system.
  • Relay input for connecting a CO2/humidity/IAQ sensor or any other sensor, the signal from which switches the unit to maximum speed.
  • Monitoring filter clogging using the hour meter.
  • Setting up the unit’s operation using a weekly timer.

Installation

The installation is intended for internal installation on glazed balconies, in utility rooms, in attics at an ambient temperature not lower than -15 °C. If the unit operates at subzero ambient temperatures, the drain pipe must be thermally insulated to prevent condensate from freezing.

The unit is attached to the wall using anchor bolts or placed on the floor in a position that ensures condensate is collected and drained into the drain . When installing the unit, it is necessary to provide access for service from the front panel (if necessary, the panel is completely removed).
