Electric heater Vents NK 125-0.6-1 U with built-in temperature control is used to heat air in supply ventilation systems. To automatically maintain the air temperature in the duct at a given value, this series of NK heaters is equipped with a temperature control module (from 0.6 to 2.4 kW) or a control unit (from 3.0 to 9.0 kW)
Design
The housing and junction box are made of galvanized steel sheet, the heating elements are made of stainless steel. For a tight connection with air ducts, the heaters are equipped with rubber seals. NK duct heaters are equipped with two overheat protection thermostats:
- main protection with automatic restart (operation temperature +50°C). After cooling, the thermostat automatically closes the heater control circuit.
- emergency protection with manual restart (operation temperature +90°C). In the event of an alarm, power can be supplied to the heater only after manually resetting the alarm.
For each standard size there are several power options. Greater power can be achieved by installing heaters in series one after another.

To automatically maintain the air temperature in the duct at a given value in NK heaters There are modifications of NK...U with a temperature control module (from 0.6 to 2.4 kW) or with a control unit (from 3.0 to 9.0 kW).

On the front panel of the junction box there is an electronic thermostat control knob with a temperature scale from -10 to +40 °C. The Vents NK…U heater is equipped with a temperature sensor built into the channel.
The heater is equipped with overheating protection - a thermal switch with manual reset, with a nominal shutdown temperature of 60 °C.
< h3>InstallationThe design of the heater allows it to be mounted on round air ducts using clamps. The direction of air movement must correspond to the arrow on the heater. Duct heaters can be installed in any position, except for the position with the electrical panel at the bottom (danger of condensation leaking and short circuiting of the electrical wiring).
It is recommended to install it so that the air flow is evenly distributed over the entire section.
Before The heater must be equipped with an air filter that protects the heating elements from contamination.
The recommended distance between the heater and the rest of the system elements must be at least two connecting diameters.
Duct heaters are designed for minimum air speed flow 1.5 m/s and maximum operating temperature of exhaust air 40°C. If a fan speed controller is used, it is necessary to ensure a minimum air flow through the heater.
It is prohibited to supply power to the heater when the fan is turned off.
For proper and safe operation of the heaters, it is recommended to use an automation system providing comprehensive control and protection:
- automatic adjustment of power and air heating temperature,
- monitoring the condition of the filter using a differential pressure sensor,
- blocking the power supply to the heater, if the supply fan stops or the air flow rate decreases, as well as when the built-in overheating protection thermostats are triggered,
- the ventilation system is turned off with purging of the heater heating elements.
