The gravity valve for ventilation Vents KG 400x200 is used in supply or exhaust ventilation systems to shut off the ventilation duct when the equipment is not working. When the fan is turned on, the valve plates are opened by a flow of air; when the equipment is turned off, the valve plates lower under their own weight and block the channel.
The valve body is made of galvanized sheet. The valve is equipped with light gravity plastic plates located on rotary axes built into the outer frame.
Installation
The valve is designed for installation in rectangular ducts of ventilation systems with the long side in a horizontal position. The plates must close independently under their own weight; nothing should interfere with the movement of the plates. When placing the valve in the ventilation system, it is necessary to take into account the direction of air flow.
