Flat channel 5020, 2 meters long, is used to move air in an exhaust or supply ventilation system. The air duct is one of the components of the Plastivent plastic channel system.

Example 1. It is necessary to select a root air duct for supply ventilation with a design capacity of 400 m³/h. The speed in such a channel should be within 5-6 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 90x220 mm fits these parameters.
Example 2. It is necessary to select an air duct from the supply unit, which extends from the root air duct to the guest room. The estimated capacity in this branch is 30 m³/h. The speed in the side air duct should be within 3-4 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 55x110 mm is suitable.
Example 3. A flat duct is required for stove hood. Estimated exhaust capacity 250 m?/h. The speed is allowed within 5-6 m/sec. For this task, according to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 60x204 mm is suitable.
