Aluminum tape

Aluminum tape is widely used in construction, repair and installation work. In ventilation systems, it is used to seal all connections of rigid or flexible air ducts to prevent air loss. Also used to bond insulation covers on air ducts to prevent condensation.

This aluminum tape consists of aluminum foil, underneath there is a metallized film with an adhesive composition. The adhesive side of the mounting tape is protected by siliconized paper, which can be easily removed from it. The product is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and can withstand high temperatures.

Supplied in a roll 50 meters long, tape width 50 mm.

Installation

It is recommended to use the product at ambient temperatures ranging from +10°C to +40°C, this will allow you to achieve a good connection. All surfaces that will be treated with mounting tape must be cleaned and dried.

For the convenience of sealing large diameter air ducts, it is convenient to pre-prepare several strips of tape of a certain length. This will make the job easier.
