A plastic rectangular duct 7005 with a cross-section of 60x120 mm is used to move air in exhaust or supply ventilation systems. It is one of the ventilation elements of Plastivent.

Example 1. It is necessary to select a root air duct for an air supply unit for ventilation of an apartment with a design capacity of 120 m³/h. The speed in the root section should be within 5-6 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 60x120 mm fits these parameters.
Example 2. It is necessary to select an air duct for the exhaust system of the garage room, which extends from the tee of the root air duct to the center of the room. The estimated capacity in this branch is 100 m³/h. The speed in the side air duct should be within 3-4 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 60x120 mm is suitable.
Example 3. For local exhaust above the soldering area, a flat duct is required. The estimated capacity of the exhaust system is 190 m³/h. The speed is allowed within 5-6 m/sec. For this task, according to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 60x204 mm is suitable.
