Example 2. It is necessary to select an air duct that extends from the root duct and will enter the room. The estimated capacity in this branch is 90 m³/h. The speed in the side air duct should be within 3-4 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 60x120 mm is suitable.
Example 3. A flat duct is required for a kitchen hood. Estimated extraction capacity 400 m?/h. The speed is allowed within 5-6 m/sec. For this task, according to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 90x220 mm is suitable.
