Channel 90x220 plastic flat 9005

Plastic flat air duct 9005 with a cross-section of 90x220 mm and a length of 0.5 meters is used in ventilation systems to move air. Included in the Plastivent plastic channel system for domestic or commercial ventilation.

Application

• For supply or exhaust ventilation of premises for various purposes.
• To form a system of flat-section ventilation air ducts to reduce the occupied space under the ceiling.

Design

• The channel is made of white PVC.
• Overall section: 90x220 mm.
• Internal section: 86x216 mm.
• Channel length 500 mm.
• They are connected to each other using connectors of appropriate sections.
• The air duct is capable of passing through 400 m3/h at a speed of 5.98 m/sec in the root section. In branches, the permissible air flow rate is 300 m3/h and below.

Example 1. It is necessary to select a root air duct for a supply and exhaust unit with a design capacity of 250 m³/h. The speed in the main section should be within 5-6 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 60x204 mm fits these parameters.

Example 2. It is necessary to select an air duct for the exhaust system of the kitchen premises, which extends from the root air duct to the side onto the grille. The estimated capacity in this branch is 60 m³/h. The speed in the side air duct should be within 3-4 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 55x110 mm is suitable.

Example 3. A kitchen hood requires a flat duct. Estimated extraction capacity 380 m³/h. The speed is allowed within 5-6 m/sec. For this task, according to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 90x220 mm is suitable.
