Example 2. It is necessary to select an air duct from the air handling unit of a private house, which extends from the root air duct into the living room. The estimated capacity in this branch is 60 m³/h. The speed in the side air duct should be within 3-4 m/sec. According to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 55x110 mm is suitable.
Example 3. For a garage hood, a flat duct is required. Estimated extraction capacity 380 m³/h. The speed is allowed within 5-6 m/sec. For this task, according to the table, an air duct with a cross section of 90x220 mm is suitable.
