Flexible air duct 400 mm, non-insulated, made of metallized polyester (3 layers), reinforced with steel spring wire with a diameter of 0.8-1.2 mm. The total wall thickness of the air duct is 100 microns.
Air ducts are designed for use at temperatures from - 30°C to +100°C at operating pressures up to 2500 Pa and air flow speeds up to 32 m/s.
The length of the air duct is 10 meters.
Installation of the air duct
The air duct in the mounted position must be fully stretched and secured to the surface of the wall, ceiling, floor, etc. When stretched, the resistance is minimal, which has a positive effect on the overall quality of ventilation. If the air duct will pass through a wall, use a small section of galvanized air duct at the passage point, to which a flexible one is connected on both sides.
When installing air ducts, it is necessary to use clamps, mounting tapes and sealant. When connecting to a galvanized portion of a duct or other component, sealants must be applied to a clean surface. Place the air duct onto the pipe no less than 50 mm, after which the connection point must be treated with mounting tape. A clamp is installed on top for additional fixation.
Accessories
For sealing, you can use aluminum foil tape with a metallized film and an adhesive base. The mounting tape also allows you to connect the insulation joints to each other to prevent the formation of condensation and heat loss.
