The Vents VKPF 4D 400x200 fan is used for use as part of a supply or exhaust ventilation system. It is duct, mounted with ventilation elements with a cross-section of 400x200 mm. This model is equipped with a three-phase motor, the fan performance can be adjusted using a frequency regulator or a step transformer (not included in the delivery package, purchased separately).

Design
The Vents VKPF 4D 400x200 fan housing is made of galvanized steel.
Motor
4 and 6-pole asynchronous motors with an external rotor and a galvanized steel impeller with forward curved blades are used. Fans with this turbine design are distinguished by high performance and a relatively large pressure drop.
To provide thermal protection against overheating, thermal contacts with terminals for connecting external protection devices are built into the motor winding. The use of rolling bearings in engines ensures a long service life. To achieve precise performance, low noise levels and safe fan operation, each turbine undergoes dynamic balancing during assembly. The motor in the fan has a protection class of IP 44.
Speed adjustment
Adjustment can be either smooth or stepwise, and is carried out using a triac or autotransformer regulator. Several fans can be connected to one control device at once, provided that the total power and operating current do not exceed the rated parameters of the controller.
A fan speed controller not only makes it possible to save money by reducing energy consumption and extending service life electric motor, but also significantly reduces the noise from the fan when maximum power is not needed. Adjustment is especially often used in supply ventilation systems during the cold season, since heating a smaller amount of supply air requires less energy.
Installation
The fans are mounted through flexible inserts, it is necessary to attach them to building structure using supports, hangers or brackets.
The fan can be installed in any position, taking into account the direction of air flow (indicated by an arrow on the fan housing). It is also necessary to provide access for servicing the fan. Power is supplied to the fan through external terminals. For inspection and maintenance, the fan is equipped with a technological cover on the housing.
