Functionality of the SUNIS IO 2401219 solar sensor

This light sensor allows you to automatically control your indoor shutters, vertical outdoor shutters, terrace canopies and roller blinds. Thanks to the adjustable potentiometer, you can set the light levels so that the sensor records and automatically applies instructions. The main advantage is that it is possible to control the devices even if you are away, which contributes to better thermal comfort!

Detection of the appearance of the sun:

When the ambient light exceeds the set threshold on the SUNIS WIREFREE II IO sensor, a signal is sent to let the shutters or curtains come down after 2 minutes. If the preferred MY position has been set, then it is accepted, otherwise they are completely closed.

Detection of the disappearance of the sun:

When the ambient light falls below the set threshold, a countdown starts from 10 to 30 minutes (depending on the duration of the sunlight), after which a signal is sent for the shutters or curtains to rise.

The illumination threshold can be changed at any time.

Compatibility of the Sunis Io 2 light sensor

This sensor is compatible only with motorizations of "Stora/Curtains" of the Somfy® IO brand.

It is also necessary to have an Io transmitter. It can be a one-way Io control device, such as Smoove Auto/Manu Io or Situo 5 Variation Auto/Manu, or a two-way Io control device with feedback, such as Tahoma or Connexion IO. This step is important because the sensor sends a signal to the remote control, which in turn transmits information to the engine.

Installation

The light sensor for Io engines should be installed outside on a vertical platform in the open air, away from artificial lighting and without permanent shade. Make sure the sensor is easily accessible for cleaning. The choice of installation location affects its daily efficiency. Installation takes only a few moments, and two screws are included.
