Features
An electromagnetic valve is an efficient electromechanical device designed to regulate the flow of all types of liquids and gases. It consists of a housing, a solenoid (electromagnet) with a core on which a disc or piston regulating the flow is mounted.
 
The principle of operation
An electric voltage is applied to the electromagnetic coil of the valve, after which the magnetic core is drawn into the solenoid, which leads to the opening or closing of the valve. The core is placed inside the closed tube of the solenoid coil — this is necessary for the tightness of the solenoid valve.
 
Device
The device of the electromagnetic valve is similar to the device of a conventional shut—off valve, however, the opening or closing of the electromagnetic valve is carried out without mechanical effort - by means of an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) by applying an electric voltage to it.
 
Application
The solenoid valve is used both in complex technological processes and in everyday life. With its help, you can remotely supply the required volume of liquid, steam or gas at the right time (water supply in irrigation systems, regulation of heating processes, ensuring the operation of boiler facilities, in dosing and mixing systems, as well as for draining water).
