Compatibility of shades

Our insulated interior blinds are specially designed for Velux® dormer windows. To determine if they are compatible with your skylight, simply check the identification plate located in the upper right corner (on the movable part of the window). Adaptation is possible on most models (GGL, GPL, GTL, GZL, GHL, GHU, GGI, GFL, GRL, VTL, GIL, GIU, VFA, VFB, VFE).

Now your skylight is well insulated and darkened

These Velux® blinds are blackout blinds, but not only. Is it more? The fabric is double, assembled in such a way as to form cells that capture cold air or hot air that has managed to pass through the double-glazed window. These cells are lined with effective insulating aluminum . As a result, in a closed position, the room is plunged into darkness and is much better insulated.

This pleated model with insulating cells has guides in the shape of the letter U. This U format blocks the passage of light on the sides (the beam of light) and reduces cold bridges in this area.

A brush seal is built under the handle to block the passage of wind and thus ensure the tightness of the awning.

Elegant and durable finish as a bonus

Thin guides with a width of 3.3 cm , a flat protective box with a thickness of H5 x 1 cm and a curved handle made of anodized aluminum make these blinds attractive in any interior . Anodizing, the process of increasing the thickness of the aluminum oxide layer naturally present in the material, guarantees optimal corrosion protection. The awning is suitable for all types of rooms, even for wet ones.
